Mt. Evans and our visit with Duane and Linda

We arrived at Castlerock Colorado on September 3rd. We went to an art show in Estes with Duane and Linda. Then they took us up to Mt. Evans which is 14,220 elevation highest paved road in the U.S.A. Half way up we saw some goats there is a picture of them in the collage. The picture with little people in it is Duane and Linda on top of Mt. Evans. It was a wonderful day. It was a sunny day. If Duane didn't have car trouble it would have been a perfect day.

Today we are headed to The Great Sand Dunes National Preserve.

We had 2 classes in Gillette. It was small but we had a great time painting.

I caught a fantastic sky one night.

Tomorrow we head for Colorado to visit with Duane and Linda.

Devils Tower

We are in Wyoming and went to Devils Tower today. Friday we go to Gillette and teach more classes.

Mount Rushmore and the Badlands

We drove across South Dakota and went to Mount Rushmore, Wall Drug, and The Badlands. We are having great weather.

Corn Palace in Mitchel South Dakota

We just left Mitchel, South Dakota. We are on our way to Wall.

While in Mitchel we went to the Corn Palace. The entire outside of the building is done with corn. All natural colors. Inside they have pictures that are done with ears of corn. Very Interesting and very artistic.

Then we went to Caballas and I took pictures of a albino catfish. Outside Caballas is a metal sculpture of pheasants the state bird.

South Dakota August 16

We are on route 90 in South Dakota. Here are some pictures. This is proof that I drive. I drove for 2 hours today. There are a lot of Windmills out here.
