Mt. Evans and our visit with Duane and Linda

We arrived at Castlerock Colorado on September 3rd. We went to an art show in Estes with Duane and Linda. Then they took us up to Mt. Evans which is 14,220 elevation highest paved road in the U.S.A. Half way up we saw some goats there is a picture of them in the collage. The picture with little people in it is Duane and Linda on top of Mt. Evans. It was a wonderful day. It was a sunny day. If Duane didn't have car trouble it would have been a perfect day.

Today we are headed to The Great Sand Dunes National Preserve.

We had 2 classes in Gillette. It was small but we had a great time painting.

I caught a fantastic sky one night.

Tomorrow we head for Colorado to visit with Duane and Linda.

Devils Tower

We are in Wyoming and went to Devils Tower today. Friday we go to Gillette and teach more classes.

Mount Rushmore and the Badlands

We drove across South Dakota and went to Mount Rushmore, Wall Drug, and The Badlands. We are having great weather.

Corn Palace in Mitchel South Dakota

We just left Mitchel, South Dakota. We are on our way to Wall.

While in Mitchel we went to the Corn Palace. The entire outside of the building is done with corn. All natural colors. Inside they have pictures that are done with ears of corn. Very Interesting and very artistic.

Then we went to Caballas and I took pictures of a albino catfish. Outside Caballas is a metal sculpture of pheasants the state bird.

South Dakota August 16

We are on route 90 in South Dakota. Here are some pictures. This is proof that I drive. I drove for 2 hours today. There are a lot of Windmills out here.

We signed students up on Wednesday for painting classes. Lorraine St. Louis helped me because John had to attend the Governing Board Meeting. We had the class in the afternoon with 31 people. When I got home I was very tired. Signing people up for classes requires us to be there at 6:45 a.m. Then my class was at 1:30 to 4;30 the same day.

Carol Johnson is one of the other Seminar Presenters. She teaches Fusion Jewelry using a kiln.

Friends We Met For Lunch

Before the rally started we met Chris and Pam for lunch in Whitewater, Wisconsin. It was great seeing them. John, Lorraine, and myself drove from Madison.

Walking the Upper Peninsula

You need to see the stairway down to see one of the waterfalls. Most of the waterfalls we saw we needed to take the stairs. The weather this month has been really nice.

We are leaving the U.P. and moving on to Wisconsin. Our touring is over for now.

Now, we need to get ready to teach in Madison.

Traveling the Upper Peninsula of Michigan

This is the third week John and myself have traveled the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. It has been a wounderful tour. We enjoyed good weather while seeing many waterfalls and lighthouses. This is a beautiful area and I am hapy that John and I were able to njoy it. Lake Superior is awesome.

While we were parked in Houghton we took a trip to Copper Harbour and it had some scenes that we had not seen in other parts of the U.P. We saw a snow gauge which was interesting I have put it in the collage.

We are headed for Ontonagon where plan on seeing more sights. This is our last stop in the U.P. Next week we go to Wisconsin.

The Grubers in June

We visited Dick and Joan Gruber before we went to the Upper Pinnisula. They were great fun. We parked in their drive and played cards every night. They were such fun. Joan and I went and had our nails done. Then on another day we had our hair done. Also went to some neat shoppes. Also a garage sale. Check out the pictures. We had a lovely ride in their pontoon boat of Lake Houghton.

The weather was great.

July 16, 2011 Upper Peninsula Michigan

We have been traveling the Upper Peninsula and it is soooooooo beautiful. We have visited the waterfalls around Munising and got a great work out. Walked a lot. We just got to Marquette today and will check out this area tomorrow. Check out the callage.

Big Sable Lighthouse on Lake Michigan

John and I walked 2 miles on the beach to get to this lighthouse and 2 miles back on a dirt road. It was a great day.

John and I are in Mears at Timberlakes RV Resort. We took a ride to Silver Lake where the Little Sable Point Lighthouse. The pictures are of the lighthouse and the Dunes. What a beautiful place.

Perry, Georgia F.M.C.A. Rally 2011

We taught 3 classes in Perry, Ga. Here is a picture . We will be teaching at the Good Sam Georgia State Rally March 23rd. to the 28th. We will be teaching 2 classes for them.

On The Road Again

We are on our way to the Family Motor Home Association Rally in Georgia. We will be teaching 3 classes there. A week after that we will be going to a Good Sam Rally also in Perry. I will be teaching 2 classes there.

We have finished our schedule for 2010.

We are headed back to Florida. We plan on arriving in Dade City October 5.

Then we will sell John's house and travel full time in the R.V.

This has been a successful trip and a wonderful time.

Painting Classes 2010

We have taught at 15 rallies so far this year. The student count is over 380. We are presently in Elkart, Indiana. We will leave here on Friday to attend the escapee's rally in Goshen, Indiana. We are scheduled to teach 2 classes. After that we will be going to 2 Good Sam Rallies. One in Indiana the other in Tennessee. We plan on being back in Florida October 6th. August 9, 2010 Catching Up

Hi Everyone. I have not been updating my blog. So today I will catch you all up. We left Florida 2/28/10. We drove 6 days and arrived in Yuma where we taught classes for "The Gypsy Journal". Left and went to Casa Grande and met up with Jim and Kay. Then on to Tucson and taught classes for Monaco at Beaudry R.V. resort. While in Tucson we went to Saguaro National Park. Then on to Albuquerque to teach for Family Motor Coach Association. When we arrived we were welcomed by a lovely snow storm. We had 3 classes with a total of 81 students. While in Albuquerque we took a tram to the top of Sandia Peak. I made a few snowballs and took a bunch of pics for reference material for when we return to Florida. I plan on doing some serious painting when we return to my studio there. Our next stop was Amarillo,Tx. where we taught for Freightliner. That took care of the month of March.

Well we have made it through another year. John and I were in Fort Lauderdale for Christmas week. We took the motor home down and stayed at Paradise Isle R.V. Park. We saw the entire family plus special friends. That is John, me and Buddy at Cheri's on Christmas Eve.

We are now back in Dade City and are planning on going to the Tampa R.V. Super Show next week.

We are back in Florida. Buddy met up with his two boys.

John and I went to the Jazz Festival with Marge and Ray. We had a great time. It was a little cool as you can see us with our winter jackets on. It is back to normal now.

We are in Leland, N. C. visiting John's brother and sister-in-law. We have been visiting David and Annie and catching up on things.

We have played Agrivation and I have not been having much luck. Those of you who know me know how much I love playing games.

We will be leaving here on Wednesday hearded to Florida and a Sandpipers Rally. Then home to John's and then to my place on the 6th.

We are already planning our 2010 itinarary. But first the Holidays.

Josephine Jones is an artist and instructor. Jo teaches the "Magic Method of Oil Painting as seen on T.V. (a.k.a. The Bob Ross Method). She teaches oil painting classes in her studio in Florida and she travels with John Judy in an R.V. and they go to R. V. Rallys.

This year they have been to F.M.C.A., Good Sam, Monaco, Freightliner, and Nemar Rallys.
