2014 - 2015 work

I am updating my blog so my friends and family can see what I have been up to this past year.  I decided to make candle holders, vases, and business card holders with vintage glassware and sea shells.  They came out pretty nice and I have sold quite a few on e bay.  I re purpose vintage dishes and glasses to create my new art form.   My store name is josephinem65 if you would like to check on my listings.  Below are some pictures of what I do.  If you are interested in purchasing my work please call me at( 727) 808-7718

September 7 through 14, 2014

We just got off of a fantastic cruise.  We traveled the western Caribbean with our daughter Cheryl and her husband Joel.

We went to Labadee, Jamaca, and Mexico.  In Labadee we spent the day on the beach and enjoyed the water and relaxed in our cabana.

Our week in the Keys

John and I arrived at Fiesta Key at mm 70 on Friday July 20th.  We got locked out of the coach and Buddy was inside and the air was not on.  After a few tries the lock opened.  We got a really nice spot on the canal. 

Sunday Deb and Gary came for a visit and it rained pretty much all day.  We had a nice
day together.

We went to a real neat consignment shop "The Pink Junktique on Monaday where I met a neat lady, Kathy Army.  We brain stormed for a few minutes.  She was very artistic.  Then we stopped off at an ice cream shop.

Tueday we went to Key West and were tacky tourists.  We went to the Butterfly Conservatory.  Took the trolly and learned about Key West.  Then we had lunch we both had Conch Chowder at the Conch Republic Restaurant.

Wesnesday we went out on the Gulf and joined in some lobster harvesting with John and Jeff.  Actually John and I just watched.  It was quite interesting and very hot.  Still fun.  They harvested two nice lobsters.
